Canthatene® Canthaxanthin
Canthatene® is Allied Biotech’s brand of canthaxanthin. Allied Biotech has developed canthaxanthin powder, emulsion, and feed grade formulations designed to achieve a range of red color shades in food. Canthaxanthin is found in mushrooms, fish, and crustaceans. It is commonly used in food and beverage products such as custards, cake mixes, juices, yogurts, soups, and sauces. It can also be used as a feed additive.

Altratene® Apocarotenal
Altratene® Apocarotenal is Allied Biotech’s line of apocarotenal formulations. Apocarotenal is a form of ProVitamin A, but is mainly used as a food colorant. Altratene® Apocarotenal provides a wide range of orange to red shades and is commonly used to color processed cheese, dressings, soups, and beverages. Apocarotenal is found in nature in tangerines, oranges, and spinach. Altratene® Apocarotenal formulations are available in water dispersible powders, emulsions, oil solutions, and oil suspension.

Lutene® Lutein
Lutene® is the trade name for Allied Biotech’s line of lutein formulations. It is naturally derived from marigolds. Lutein is often used in dietary supplements and to fortify functional foods. Altratene® Beta-Carotene
Altratene® is Allied Biotech’s line of Beta-Carotene formulations. Beta-Carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, plays a crucial role in bolstering immunity.
